As reported here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here; Montana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Indiana, Connecticut, Missouri and Iowa are pursuing legislation that will require presidential and vice-presidential candidates prove they're Constitutionally Eligible. The Arizona legislation just passed HB 2177 in the House and it now moves on to Gov. Brewer for her signature. Congrats Arizona! -snip-

ARIZONA IS FIRST STATE IN THE COUNTRY TO PASS AN ELIGIBILITY BILL !!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday in the Senate at 20-9 and Tonight By 40 - 16 - and 4 not voting in the House of Representatives.  I believe that every Republican on both sides of the aisle were YES votes.  Awesome.

It's time now to start calling Governor Brewer's office.  This may need verification and re-checking, but I believe she has 5days (possibly as much as 10 but no more than that) to sign it.  If she doesn't sign it at all, it becomes law.  The only way it does not is if she vetoes it.

WOW!!!!!   NOW COME ON OKLAHOMA, MISSOURI AND EVERYONE ELSE.  IF ANY OF YOU HAVE CONTACTS IN THESE STATES LET THEM KNOW RIGHT AWAY THAT ARIZONA DID IT AND TO USE THAT TO HELP THEM DO IT.   THANKS AND GOOD NIGHT. - Jeff Lichter

  3. How long will it take for Obama to send out his thugs to Arizona to start crying how this bill is unconstitutional?

  5. Does anybody have a link to the final bill, so we can read the exact language regarding eligibility? Did it include a requirement that both parents be U.S. citizens at the time you're born? Otherwise, it might really BE unconstitutional!

  6. Welcome to civil war #2 if you birthers try to keep Obama off the ballot due to your lies and parnoid conspiracies.

Want war, this is the way you gonna get it.

  7. Wonder if Obama would take the risk and submit a fradualent birth certificate. I hope Arizona has ways to authenticate it.

  8. Why would Brewer veto it? Revenge is so sweet!

  9. Could anyone please post a link to or provide the # of the actual bill that was passed so I can read it. The links and #'s provided on obama release your records are confusing. Thanks!

  10. this bill is so watered down that obama is not even going to concern himself with it. plus arizona is not a state he would win anyway and neither is oklahoma. he did not need them in 2008.

  11. Barry bills, lawsuits, private investigations, law enforcement investigations, etc., etc., etc., will accomplish nothing. Barry isn't going anywhere. He comes from, and understands, that we would have to go " Egypt" on him to remove him. Forget about the elections. Any elections. It doesn't matter who you vote for or who wins. The results are always the same-we lose. Trump is proving to be a distraction. Not a word, from anybody, on NBC. The fact that Trump hasn't mentioned it yet tells me he never will. Another one bites the dust and we haven't moved forward an inch. How do I know? Because everyday the sun rises and sets, and Barry Soetoro is walking around free, illegally.

This is really simple. All Obama has to do is provide the proper documentation and he will be on the ballot.

If he's proven legitimate, birthers aren't going to start a war over it. They may not agree with what he is doing, but they will take comfort in knowing that our Constitution has been adhered to.

However, if he is in fact proven illegitimate, or if he refuses to prove his legitimacy and is removed from the ballot, you are suggesting Obama supporters would be willing to start an actual war to keep an an illegitimate guy in power. That's amazing. But I'm not worried about you and your kind. If his skirt falls down and he's exposed as a fraud, there won't be all that many of you left. He's already worn out his welcome with a majority of Americans. Just wait until he's exposed.

From what I have read (I haven't seen actual language), the bill removed "Parental Citizenship" requirements before passage. Leaving AZ with a bill that requires only that a person be a "Citizen" (not a Natural Born Citizen) - In other words they are going to validate "Ineligibles" to be on the ballot.
That's worse than if they had done nothing because now they will be officially recognizing mere "Citizenship" as completely fullfilling the Natural Born Citizen requirement in the Constitution - Very distressing.

  15. Obama won his first elections in IL by challenging their ballot access and getting his opposition removed from the ballot. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

If this bill does not have parental citizenship requirements in it, we should be calling on Brewer to veto it (IMO). If other states copy an Arizona bill that does not require parental citizenship, the Constitution will effectively have been amended outside the Article V process for doing so. Putting the toothpaste back in the tube will be very difficult indeed. It will be very bad (IMO). Check with Donofrio or Apuzzo on this - But I don't think it's good.

Look at this way. By passing the Barry Bill in Arizona, the Orly Taitzes, Cdr. Kerchners and Mario Apuzzos could later challenge it, saying it doesn't go for enough in determining who is a natural-born citizen. SCOTUS probably still won't grant them standing and make a ruling on this issue once and for all, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Maybe The Donald would get behind it as well.

By the way, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't I read some time ago that Arizona Gov. Brewer would sign the eligibility bill if it should reach her desk?

  18. The Bill Is HB2177 and has gone to the Governor - It does NOT contain provision for proof of Parental Citizenship. That means that Barack can hand in his forged COLB and the issue of his father's "NonCitizenship" is not even an issue. NOW - other states use Arizona as a template to pass their own eligibility requirements and you have an even bigger mess than you had to begin with. Brewer should VETO this bill IMO.

This legislation is NOT a good thing for our Constitution. I believe we should contact Brewer and ask her to send it back to the legislature and have the stricken (Parental Citizenship)language restored.

  20. Yes the bill is HB 2177...however the relevant sub section is 16-507.01., and it very clearly states that potus and vpotus candidates must submit documents that prove that he/she is a "natural born citizen" as per ART II SEC I, Constitution of the United States. (see below)

    16-507.01. Presidential candidates; affidavit of
    7 qualifications; enforcement

9 PRESIDENT FOR A PARTY THAT IS ENTITLED TO CONTINUED REPRESENTATION ON THE
10 BALLOT SHALL PROVIDE TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE WRITTEN NOTICE OF THAT
11 POLITICAL PARTY'S NOMINATION OF ITS CANDIDATES FOR PRESIDENT AND
12 VICE-PRESIDENT. WITHIN TEN DAYS AFTER SUBMITTAL OF THE NAMES OF THE
13 CANDIDATES, THE NATIONAL POLITICAL PARTY COMMITTEE SHALL SUBMIT AN AFFIDAVIT
14 OF THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE IN WHICH THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE STATES THE
15 CANDIDATE'S CITIZENSHIP AND AGE AND SHALL APPEND TO THE AFFIDAVIT DOCUMENTS
16 THAT PROVE THAT THE CANDIDATE IS A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN, PROVE THE
17 CANDIDATE'S AGE AND PROVE THAT THE CANDIDATE MEETS THE RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS
18 FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES AS PRESCRIBED IN ARTICLE II, SECTION 1,
19 CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES.

    (in addition)

The only thing that would keep him off is if he didn't have a real birth certificate. That would prove us right and the Obots wrong. Would you still want to go to war over a fraudulent president? Seems kind of silly to me.

  22. Nothing is going to keep Barry off any ballot in any state. He does have a long form bc. It is not from Hawaii. It is from Kenya. He is not eligible to be POTUS. Although, he is eligible and is, a POS.

As you can see there is nothing in there to document the Parents Citizenship and I will almost guarantee that if it isn't in the law, It won't be required. Don't forget, Natural Born Citizen is considered by some to be synonomous with "Citizen". How many times have you heard the libs say "The birthers don't believe Obama is a "CITIZEN". This is tremendously important and I think it's a big mistake to think this is a good bill. Time will tell and I PRAY you're right and I'm wrong.

  26. Arizona has some guts, the bill is perfect. If they had language about both parents being citizens without the Supreme Court ruling on what exactly a "Natural Born Citizen" was then it would be thrown out...

  28. Why didn't Governor Brewer demand then Senator Obama's Eligibility to be POTUS investigated by the state Elections Committee as extensively as the University of Arizona Law Review did that found McCain Ineligible to be POTUS ??
